The water reservoir Krpáčovo is situated at the altitude of about 750 m on the southern slope of the mountain Chopok in the Low Tatras, at the foot of the hill Bukový grúň and Mesiačik. It is a small water reservoir with lots of accommodation facilities in its surroundings.
Not only families with children, but also tourists seek its refreshing water after hiking in the neighboring hills or in the Vajskovská Valley. You can rent a water bike or a small boat and enjoy the silent water surface. In addition, anglers can expect rich quarries. Close to the dam you can notice a beautiful sculpture of a mother and child. Bikers can visit the neighboring village of Tále or the Bystrianska Cave.
